Descendants of 'Double Zero' prepare for Gondola Day festivities

Gondola Days Festival equestrian team members have arrived in Dornoch and are diligently preparing for the Gondal Days activities. This years equestrian team will be re-enacting the flaming trolley pull that inspired a generation.

Equestrian team members have been carefuly training their steeds for this years flaming pull. Handling horses while pulling a fireball along the cable lines being errected at the fairgrounds requires hours of patient practice to ensure the horses are prepared to supress the natural urges that can overcome a horse when they realize the flaming cable car high overhead is attached to their harness. 

This years festivities are sure to be a delight for old and young.
